As a company active throughout the world, the German CAD-CAM systems supplier, assyst/bullmer, currently enjoys a customer base of more than 7,000 users including such well-known firms as Hugo Boss, Escada, Betty Barclay and Frankenw?lder. The manufacturing facilities in Germany are an integral part of the assyst/bullmer group corporate policy; the knowledge and experience developed over the course of decades is considered to be one of the companys most vital assets, a fundamental resource that cannot be put at risk.
With its focus on product design and development (PDM, CAD) and the purchase of bullmer in mid-1999, the corporate group also offers a wide range of magazine and spreader technology as well as automatic cutting systems (CAM). In-house software development has been taking place since 1985, and hardware development since 1933. The company developed into the market leader in Germany at a very early stage and at a time when the German and Italian garment industries set the current exemplary standards for a professional CAD/CAM system. Since innovative improvements have already raised 2D systems to an outstanding level, todays developments focus on 3D applications. Additionally, a worldwide data link on the web, WEB service (ASP), the user and maintenance friendliness of the software and equipment as well as continuous improvements in the price/performance ratio represent additional characteristics guaranteeing a high level of user utility. Aside from the focus on the clothing industry at the trade show, branch-specific solutions, for example for processors of technical textiles, will also be presented at the IMB.
